As we informed you last week, our District will be following the province’s direction and will have students
return to in-school learning on a part-time basis beginning June 1st. This return to in-school learning is
voluntary. To help in our planning, we need your help in gathering information. We understand that not all
families are the same and that you can choose to do what works best for your family. We support you and
your family’s decision.
지난주에 안내드렸듯이, 우리 교육청은 BC주 정부의 지침에 따라 6월 1일부터 부분적인 시간제 교실 수업으로 복귀할 예정입니다.
이 복귀 여부는 자율입니다. 이 계획을 도와주시기 위해서는, 정보수집에 도움을 주시길 바랍니다. 우리는 가족들이 모두 같지 않다는걸 알고있고 각 가족들이 본인 가족에게 가장 좋은 선택을 내리실거라고 이해도 하고있습니다.
저희는 가족분들의 선택을 지지합니다.

Your child’s school has sent you a survey asking a series of questions to determine if you will be sending your child(ren) for in-school learning as of June 1st. If the survey is not completed by the posted deadline,
school staff will be calling families to gather details. Please take note of the following background information regarding the partial return to school.
아이들의 학교에서 6월 1일 학교 복귀 여부에 관련해서 질문들이 있는 설문지를 보냈을 것입니다.
만약 설문지가 기간내에 완성되어지지 않으면, 학교 스태프가 직접 가족들에게 연락드려 자세한내용을 수집할것입니다.
부분적인 등교 관련해서 아래의 정보를 참고해주시기 바랍니다.

What remains in place no matter what you decide:
결정과 상관없이 적용되는 것들:

• All students will continue with remote learning until the end of the school year.
• Vulnerable learners will continue to be provided in-school supports.
-모든 학생들은 학기 말까지 원격 수업에 참여해야합니다.
-취약계층 학생들에게는 지속적으로 학교에서 지원을 할 것입니다.

What you should know to help you decide:
결정하실때 알고있으면 도움이 될만한 것들

• By the end of this week, the school needs to know whether or not your child(ren) will attend in-school
learning beginning June 1st so appropriate arrangements can be made.
-이번주 말 내로, 학교들은 정확한 계획을 세우기 위해 아이들이 부분적으로 등교를 하실건지에 대한 정보를 받아야합니다.

• If you want your child(ren) to return to in-school learning, they will be able to attend 1 day per week for
Grades 9-12.
-만약 아이들이 등교를 하는것을 원하시면, 9-12학년은 일주일에 하루 등교를 하게 됩니다.

• Policies and procedures for bus transportation during the COVID-19 crisis may result in restrictions to the level of service provided for students.
-규정들과 버스통학은 Covid-19기간동안 기존에 있던것보다 제한될수도 있습니다.

• The school will provide families of attending students with a schedule for the day their child(ren) can attend before June 1st.
-학교는 가족들에게 6월 1일 전에 학생들의 해당 날짜 학교 스케줄표를 제공할것입니다.

• Safety protocols and procedures will be provided along with those schedules. Information about bringing school supplies and personal devices will also be sent to parents/guardians before June 1st.
(Please read attached Health and Safety FAQs for Parents/Guardians).
-안전에 대한 규정과 절차 또한 스케쥴과 함께 제공 될 것입니다. 학교준비물 및 개인 기기 정보 또한 6월1일 전에
부모/보호자들에게 보내어질 것입니다.

• The school cannot take requests from families to have their child(ren) attend on a particular day.
-가족들에게로부터 특정 날에 학교를 나가고싶다고 요청드릴수 없습니다.

• In-school learning will look different; students may not necessarily be with their classroom teachers (this is dependent on many factors including size of school population, number of students, ability for teachers and staff to ensure health & safety guidelines are met).
-교내 수업은 달라보일것이고; 학생들은 기존 담임선생님들과 수업이 진행되지 않을수도 있습니다.
(이것은 교실 사이즈나, 전교생 수, 안전수칙을 따를수있는것과 관련될것입니다.)

• In-school learning may take place outside of your child’s regular classroom (e.g. other classrooms, gymnasium, library, outdoors).
-기존의 교실과 다른 장소에서 수업이 이루어질수도 있습니다.(다른 교실, 체육관, 도서관, 바깥)

• In-school learning will follow the same plan that students are already receiving through remote learning.
-학교 수업은 원격 수업과 같은 계획으로 진행되어집니다.

• Teachers and staff may be managing both in-school learning and remote learning and may need to prioritize their time allotted to tasks/students as needed.
- 선생님들과 스태프는 교내 수업과 원격 수업을 동시에 관리할수도 있고, 필요에 따라 과제들/학생들에게게
시간을 우선시해야 할 수도 있습니다.

• If you change your decision and want your child(ren) to attend in-school learning after June 1st, please let your school administrator know. The school may not be able to accommodate in-school learning until after June 7th, if at all.
- 만약 아이들의 6월 1일 이후의 참석하는것으로 마음이 바뀌신다면, 학교 담당자에게 알려주시길 바랍니다.
학교는 6월 7일 이후에 등교 수업을 받아드릴수도 있습니다.
