The Abbotsford School District continues our work on developing educational continuity plans for our students. Here are additional Frequently Asked Questions.
아보츠포드 교육청은 계속해서 학업을 위한 계획을 발전시키고 있습니다. 지속적으로 질문하셨던 부분들이 있습니다.

1. When will educational continuity plans be put in place?
지속적인 학업 계획은 언제부터 실행될까요?

Our teachers started connecting with students and/or parents.
Learning opportunities will look different while our schools are closed for face to face instruction to students.
This could include measures such as online learning tools and/or resource packages or assignments emailed from teachers to parents and/or students.
You can expect information from each teacher no later than April 15.
선생님들이 학생들과 부모님들께 따로 연락을 드리기 시작했습니다.
휴교하여 새롭게 진행될 학습기회는 직접 마주하고 학습하는것과 다른점이 있을것입니다.
새롭게 진행하는 학습기회는 온라인 학습 도구 또는 패키지, 과제를 포함하고있습니다.
이러한 정보들은 4월 15일을 넘기지 않게 제공될것입니다.

2. Are international students who returned to their home country due to COVID-19 required to partake in the continued learning?
Covid-19로 인해 home country로 귀국한 학생들도 들어야 하나요?

All students will receive a report card based on where they were at prior to spring break combined with completion of the learning opportunities they are engaging in at home. International students who returned to their home country due to COVID-19 must also participate in learning opportunities provided by their teachers to complete the current semester/year unless they are withdrawn from the program. Final mark on a student’s official transcript will be reflective of all work completed to the end of June 2020.
모든 학생들은 봄방학 전까지 학업들과 집에서 들어야하는 학업지속에 참여하여 최종 성적표를 받게될 예정입니다. Covid-19로 인해 귀국한 국제학생들에게도 똑같이 적용되고, 학생들이 학기를 중단하지 않은 이상 참여해야합니다. 6월 말에 나눠줄 점수들은 이 모든 내용을 포함할 예정입니다.

3. What will happen if international students including those who returned to their home country don’t participate in continued learning opportunities?
Home country로 귀국한 학생들을 포함한 국제학생들이 학업지속을 하지 않을경우에 어떻게 되나요?

The Ministry of Education has indicated that all students K-11 will be promoted to the next grade and that all grade 12 students eligible to graduate will graduate in June. Every student will receive final grades and will receive a report card, appropriate to their grade level. Teachers will be responsible for assessing a student’s progress and assigning a final grade. Please note, that if a student doesn’t participate in the continued learning opportunities, they will receive a zero for all of the work not completed and this will impact their final grade. In other words, the student may be promoted to the next grade but the final mark on his or her official transcript will indicate a failing grade.
교육부는 K-11학년 학생들 모두 다음학년으로 넘어가고 12학년 학생들도 6월에 졸업을 할수 있다고 했습니다. 모든 학생들은 마지막 성적표와 리포트 카드를 받을 예정입니다. 선생님들은 최종 성적을 주셔야할 의무가 있습니다. 참고로, 만약 학생들이 학업대안에 참석하지 않게되면, 그들은 최종 성적에 0점을 받게 될것입니다. 따로 말하자면, 학생들은 다음 학년으로 넘어갈수는 있지만, 성적표에는 낙제점수로 나올수가 있습니다.

4. What do international students who returned to their home country do if they would like to withdraw from the International Program and register at school in their home country?
나라로 귀국한 학생이 해당 나라 학교에 등록하기위해 아보츠포드에서 국제학생 프로그램을 중단하고싶을때는 어떻게 해야하나요?

They must inform the international program of their decision by email at international@abbyschools.ca Please be advised that there will be no program fee refund as per our refund policy.
그들의 결정을 인터네셔널 프로그램 담당자에게 이메일(international@abbyschools.ca 해주셔야합니다. 현재 환불규정 적용해서 남은 학기에대한 환불은 진행되지 않을예정입니다.
